Autumn Louise Schaefer
Deaf-Blind Specialist
Accessibility Partner
Inclusive Arts & Dance Facilitator
I provide services and education to individuals and groups who are deaf-blind, low-vision, blind, and hard of hearing. I also train providers who serve these groups.
Deaf Blind Ohana is about creating a spirit of family amongst these communities.
Having lived in both the deaf and hearing worlds, and both the visual and blind worlds, I understand the dynamics within these communities and how to bridge people together in effective problem-solving and communication.
Building on decades of experience as an artist, dancer, wellness coach and educator, I bring insight and innovation to meeting people where they are. I am passionate about providing services that are accessible and address individual learning styles to promote effective integration of skills.
